Gun Control has been an issue for as long as there have been guns in the world. With a firearm, anyone can inflict terrible injury and death upon anyone. Heros, villains, male, female, white, black it does not matter. Anyone can purchase a gun. So with all of this, what are the options to avoiding another 17-month-old baby from being shot in the face? With mass shootings appearing more often in the news some precaution has been suggested; arming teachers, have a stricter background check and ban assault weapons are some ideas purposed to Congress. However, each solution has its issues. The artical "How M.L.K.’s Death Helped Lead to Gun Control in the U.S." sited from "The New York Times" website; exhibits how gun control has been a common topic throu

ghout history. The death of MLK shows us the seriousness of these weapons getting into the wrong hands and leading to the death of good honest people.
