Notebook Week 5 - 2b

1. Looking at Utah gun laws v. other states such as California have much stricter gun laws and their gun death rates are much much lower.

2. Right-Wing Opinion pieces

The paper is an interview with a Right-Wing individual and by taking these ideas and compare them to mine or left-wing people. I think I can make the paper so much stronger using these opinions working together.

3. I want to look more into the purchasing of guns in Utah.

UtahGunExchange.com is a good representation of what I mean because I understand the procedures of buying a gun through a Utah gun store. However, I am curious about illegal gun purchases or just how easy it may be to get illegal guns. I bring it up in my paper about hypothetically how much money it takes for people to sell a gun to an underage individual

4. What's the best solution for gun control?

It's more a question than a statement and the whole country can't agree on a solution, but I want to find at least my perfect solution.

5. Gun Laws should be the same everywhere.

My thoughts on it currently are that there need to be a countrywide law instead of the state to state law. This would fix a lot of issues with illegal gun purchasing and territory confusions.
